A New Version of the Virtual Oscilloscope Has Been Released.
The Virtual Oscilloscope simulation on Physics Zone has been updated to a new release.

What’s new in this version:

  • Signal Addition (ADD) mode: the sum of two independent signals can now be displayed in real time, supporting the study of superposition and signal interaction.
  • Frequency fine-tuning: a dedicated control has been added to each function generator for precise frequency adjustment.
  • Screen magnifier: the display can now be enlarged for improved trace readability.
  • Consolidated controls: secondary controls have been grouped into a sliding settings tray for a cleaner, less cluttered interface.

What’s improved:

  • Waveform rendering accuracy across sine, triangular, and square signals.
  • User interface responsiveness on both desktop and mobile devices.
The simulation is freely available and runs directly in the browser on any device.
